To explore the different types of relationships in the workplace, providing a clear understanding of exactly what “effective working relationships” are - and how to cultivate them within your team. You will be shown ways to develop a rapport with colleagues and to build trust within all your working relationships.

Course Content

When you have completed this course, you will be able to:

  • Identify the different types of relationships you have with people at work

  • Define what "effective working relationships" are and why they're so important

  • Develop trust and rapport

  • Take account of personality and organisational culture when building relationships with people

  • Use active listening and questioning techniques to build effective relationships
